Please go read this...

http://hilaryfields.com/2014/01/06/my-fathers-cats/

These two kitties are going to need someone sooner than anyone would like, and my gut says they need to stay together.

I'm hoping one of my east coast/NYC buds knows someone who would be able to provide a good home for them when the time comes, or help in some way.

Please go take a look.

They don't deserve what might happen to them if no one can give them their last forever home. They've been really, really important in getting two people through some awful things...

The CB has pulled off some miracles...I really hope this can be one of them.

Put it out there Max! Every effort is worth the try. Wish we weren't so far away in Iowa or we would do it.

Max, it doesn't even hafta be someone in the NYC area. The kitties could be transported to a home anywhere in the US. We could get a transport caravan together if needed.

On facebook there are a couple really great cat rescues. There are also some real cat people. Try to look into the rescues. Also signs in vet offices help. Since you are so far off ask your dad who his vet of choice is and find out if they can quietly scout out families of their patients who love cats and want more. Hope this helps. My pets are in our wills and will live with our former vet should we be taken out of life and unable to care for them.
