Ya know, I was sitting here watching the Woman do lots of nothing and it was bothering me, so I finally asked, "Hey, when are you going to get up and stick the turkey in the oven?"
She didn't answer.
So I asked again.
And she said, "What do you want Max?" and I'm still sitting there, but now instead of wondering why she's not cooking the turkey, I'm thinking she's pretty freaking dense. There's really no point in talking to her, so I just stared at her.
If you stare long enough, it freaks people out.
After a while she mumbled, "what time is it?" and I thought Score! She's going to start the turkey! but dang doods, she was only seeing how much longer before she has to pound out meat for schnitzle.
SCHNITZLE!
Dooods...there is no Thanksgiving turkey here today. Instead, greasy fried pork patties.
I am full of Teh Disappoint.
In fact...
I hope everyone else has a terrific Thanksgiving, and that your people are not half as defective as mine!

Max, we're gonna send you over some of our turkey...as soon as our mom gets off her butt and sticks it in the oven. Yeah, that's right...she hasn't put the bird in the oven yet...we may not be eating until midnight!!!
Max, we feel for you. Unfortunately, we can't send turkey because we Canadian kitties had our Thanksgiving in October. We're trying to get someone to send US turkey!
The schnitzle still could be good, though. (We're grasping at straws.)
Our human was thinking about making something other than turkey too. Fortunately wiser heads prevailed.
Awww..... that is just not right, Max.
We know how you feel Max, we're not getting turkey either.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
The humans here are not cooking at all! They are going somewhere else to eat! They had better bring back turkey or there is gonna be trouble tonight!
Erm ~ Schnitzle sounds good. Yeah ~ nom? :)xxx
Do they have Boston Market in your area, Max? The year Mom and Dad bought the house, they said that they were too busy working on the house to cook, so they went to Boston Market.
Tell The Woman and The Man to GO TO BOSTON MARKET AND BRING YOU SOME TURKEY!
Our turkey is still in the oven, but will be out soon. You are welcome to stop by anytime.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving Day to all of you!
We dint have turkey this year. TBT made Ham instead. An we dint get ta eat at the table, cause TBT dint either. He sat at his TV tray. We were worried...
But we sat on the arms of the chair an TBT gave us bit of the ham from HIS OWN PLATE! So it werked out pretty good.
Oh, Max, how awful.
Maybe she was just confused and you'll get some tomorrow?
No cooking here either Max. Although mum did have some tuna thingy at lunch time. So we got a lick of that, no turkey.
Dood Happy Thanksgiving! What a sham!
How Awful! But my poor kitty Pumpkin doesn't even know what it's like to have a whole turkey cooked at home. I always go wherever my mother is, and then Pumpkin doesn't even get a whiff of the turkey.
I never thought about how sad this was for her until I read your blog.
The closest thing to turkey for Pumpkin is when I buy a rotisserie chicken at Whole Foods and bring it home. She loves that.
Max, I really enjoyed your Thanksgiving blog and all the kitties' responses.
Don't feel bad Max. Chester was bad and none of us gots any of the Turkey the Humom cooked up.
Mine day consisted of me sitting alone in the house whilst my people troped off in celebration. Then when they arrived back, they brought no nommables for my tummy!
We have a cool place for pet bloggers, www.PetBlogsUnited.com. You should come & check it out sometime!

Well Max, if it's any consolation, we didn't get any turkey either 'cause Mom & Dad went to our Sister B's house and didn't even bring back a scrap of anything for us!
