And now, Shaggy...

Doods. Shaggy. I am leaking.

Shaggy decided to head for the Bridge last night while he was sleeping--which is, honestly, how I would like to go when it's time. But man...he was also one of the really early cat bloggers; he and his bro Scooby started Little Cat Feet in 2005, when the cat blogosphere was just a tiny drop of water in a really big pond (their little brother, Scout, joined them in 2006) and having them around was like gaining a couple of furry bros.

No doubt about it, the party that started for Chey ramped up, and now they're celebrating Shaggy's arrival, and I bet Scooby is like 97 kinds of happy to see him. But here, we're hurting. I know his mom is hurting. We're leaking.

He was a most awesome dood, and he will be missed.

We are very sad about Shaggy. All the titans are leaving. :-(

it never gets easier....

Max and Karen, you were our first blogging buddies, I love you like my own. This is hard, very hard, even though I knew it was coming. I saw it in his eyes last night: that he had 2 paws here and 2 in the next life and by morning he would be gone. It's so hard as we in the old guard pass away, it was definitely a small close community then and I've made so many wonderfully supportive friends, feline and human through the years.
Thank you! Lynne

I'm so sorry Max. It seems it's true that when it rains, it pours. Life can really be rough sometimes. Much love.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Shaggy was one of our first friends also when we started blogging all those years ago. There will have been many there waiting to greet him.

So very sad to learn. My sincere sympathoes to Shaggy's family.

Just too much sadness to bear. May has been a tough month. They were some of our earliest friends, about 12 years ago. It's hard to believe...

Rest In Peace, Angel Shaggy.

We are so sorry to hear this news.
Such a lovely kitty.
We have sent purrs and hugs to his family.
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ

Our purrs to you and to the family of Shaggy. We are sorry we never met him or his brofurs. They sound like furry cool kitties.

We have the Sads too. Too many are going all at once. When Skeeter and LC started blogging, once every couple months seeing a friend off to the Bridge was hard. Then it was weekly. Now it seems daily.
