Water, water, everywhere

Seriously, doods. This is the view I have today:

It doesn't show the wind, which is 4 kinds of loud and is making everyone unhappy. But it got the Woman to turn the fireplace on in case we lose power, so we have heat, and I'm just going to curl up in front of it and enjoy it.

Hopefully we keep power AND the fireplace on...and that the trees outside don't uproot and squish the house. They'd be more likely to squish a car, but I don't care about that. The cars aren't mine; the house is.

very smart reasoning about the cars not being yours! My cats will choose the fireplace every time!! And we need one in Canada! Nice to see green grass!

We've been very wary about trees ever since one of ours crushed our mom's car eons ago in a wind storm. Well, *we* haven't; she has. Stay safe and dry!

Wet here too, but not as wet as you have been.

I'm kind of glad the weather calms down a bit before it gets to us.

We have heard about all the rain you have had. What's up with Mother Nature. I hope you got to keep the fire on all day!

Wow, do you ever look comfy there on your pillow. We hope it gets all dry very soon. But ... not too dry.

Good priorities, Max! Sorry ta hearabout the wind and hard rain though. We have had seemingly endless drizzles, but nothing hard fer months. So we dont have ta worry about the house...
