He's all excited because he thinks he's getting something special later, but I really doubt it. The people forgot his birthday last year and I haven't heard the mention it so far this year, so I expect he'll get a big fat nothing.
I was very nice to him this morning, though. When we went into the kitchen for breakfast I said, "Welcome to middle age!" (Oh, and I might have followed that with "Loser" but I don't think heard that part...) Later on I might pester the Woman for extra crunchy treats, but only because it's his birthday and I'm that nice.
But man, he's six years old now. That means I'm gonna turn 10 this year.

Awww remember when the little guy came to your house and he was all tiny & sneezy?? (Don't remember the part how you got pretty sick from him).

holy crap. I can't believe that little booger is 6 already. It seems like just yesterday we bought your book all about him coming to your house.
It was nice of you to remember. He is a little sensitive I think so having your beans forget might make him cry and tears are never good. I live with the woman and the sticky boy so I know.
I think if you get him extra crunchies you should get extra extra crunchies just for being nice.
I'm gonna be 9 this year. yuck.

My Pumpkin kitty was 10 when I got her. I don't have an exact birthdate -- sometime in June. I think she is close to 17 now.
