The Big Onety-Five


Yep, it's the annual Max-Turns-Another-Year-Older Day.

I have to admit, I was not expecting to reach this milestone, but I'd damned glad I did. I still have things to do and people to annoy, so I'm not ready to shuffle off to the next big thing.

Today I am hoping for 5 naps in different places around the house, some real live fresh dead shrimp (which I have been getting for the last couple of days, because I'm that awesome), and maybe some real live fresh dead steak, too.

    We were thinking that big round (by 5) number was coming up soon. Its because TBT has been following you longer than we have, so he KNOWS STUFF!

    In fact, we think he started in 2004, at work, when he should have been doing real werk but ya know Beins hafta ta take a break sometimes and you were allus the 1st place he checked on a break.

    And in fact he is here, so we will just shuffle off with a HAPPY 15TH BIRFDAY MAX!

    TBT here: Max, you have been my inspiration. You are the reason I/we blog. You are the reason there IS a Mark's Mews blog. If I hadn't found you, I would just be playing strategy games all night, never contacting anyone, and who knows WHAT else!

    You are the wind under my wings, my side cat, and the goal we here aspire to. You don't know what a difference your blog has made in my life...

    When I retired in 2006, I thought, hey Max can do it, so maybe can we. It was Skeeter and LC in those days, but we tried it and it worked. I THINK it was on your blog that we saw a "Start Your Free Blog" button, but if not, you were the reason we pressed that button "somewhere" almost 10 years go (next August).
